Last Day of School!

Wednesday, May 31, 2017 - 5:59pm

These past couple days have brought out the qualities I love most about Addison- fun, collaboration, partnership, support and encouragement.  We had over 30 parents participating in Field Day yesterday and it was great to see the smiles on student faces throughout the day.  Today we had our Parents/Staff vs. 5th grade kickball game and again... a lot of laughter and joy!  Many of our classes came out to support the players and even though I got the first out for the Parent/ Staff team, the kids reassured me that I gave my best effort:)

As a final reminder, all students will be dismissed on our last day of school tomorrow, June 1, at 1:15pm.  Please check the lost and found cabinet near room 2 for any personal items and pick up any student medications in the front office.

Progress reports will be available online on Friday, June 2, at 4pm.  At the end of the year, teachers are required to mark "M" for 'met standard' or "N" for 'did not meet standard' in the academic domains.  While there may be some areas that a child did not meet standard, the teachers and intervention team work closely together to ensure extra supports are implemented when needed.  We know that a child will continue learning and meeting benchmarks beyond the end of a school year and are committed to supporting them as they progress through the grade levels.  Please see below to access your child's progress report:

  1. Please log into the PAUSD Infinite Campus Portal (as you would when it is time for the Annual Data Update).  You can get to this portal at
  2. Sign in to Infinite Campus
  3. Look for the message titled “Elementary Progress Report” and click on it.
  4. A window will come up showing the student’s name (just as in the portal), and will have a list of your children who are in elementary schools that have released the progress report to the portal.  You will have a choice of English or Spanish.
  5. Once you have chosen the student and language, you should click “Generate Report”.  A PDF document will be generated.

This has been a wonderful year and I'm so honored to serve as your Principal.  Every day I feel proud of our staff and community as we learn and grow together.  Thank you for sharing this journey with me!
