Site Council Opening- deadline TOMORROW!
Dear Addison Families,
In last week's Principal's newsletter, I invited you to join our 2021-22 Site Council! SSC is a site/ parent leadership group that meets monthly to discuss facilities, the social/ emotional climate on campus and instructional goals. The Addison SSC is includes the principal, three other staff members, and four parents. Members serve for two years. Members are asked to attend monthly SSC meetings; time and dates to be determined by the SSC. The School Site Council has a great opportunity to allot state funding to programs, initiatives, and resources that support the whole child.
If you are interested in one of the open SSC positions or serving as an alternate, please email a letter of interest to me with the following information: name, grade levels of your children, and a brief statement explaining why you want to be a member of the School Site Council. The deadline for SSC letters of interest is Friday, May 14. Also, if you have any further questions about SSC, please don’t hesitate to contact me or our current SSC Parent Chair, John Bressler (email@example.com).
