January 13, 2016,  7:00 pm : The Well-Balanced Student

Agenda:

  • explore the unique demands placed on their children's time today,
  • examine how today's high-pressure, fast-paced culture can have unintentional but damaging effects on children,
  • discover simple ways your family can counter the fast-paced culture without sacrificing achievement and while allowing kids to be kids, and
  • discuss research-based strategies to increase resilience, creativity and overall well-being for children.

April 28, 2015: Most Likely to Succeed screening and panel discussion

Please join us for a district-wide Parent Ed event, which will feature the Palo Alto premiere of the 2015 Sundance Film Festival documentary Most Likely to Succeed.  Following the screening, there will be a panel of experts to discuss the "Promise and Mindset Challenges of Project-Based Learning."

March 19, 2015: Parenting Expert Susan Stone Belton
